Thanks. I forgot how good Barkley's resume was(Hearns twice,Nunn,Benn, and even Duran) Hearns could talk I forot that too. He even did a little of it against Hagler.
One thing about Barkley; he was a tough, street S.O.B. with no fear in his heart .. Tommy thought he'd pull his staredown B.S. but Iran was ready to take him out right there ... I was at the Felt Forum when Iran fought Van Horn ... I swear that Barkley enetered the ring and scared the **** out of the whole arena ... he wasn't a great fighter but he was a courageous S.O.B. and a murderous puncher ...
Wow:yep.Yeah, I dont' truly follow women's boxing, though they have a couple of good ones.I just happened to look in one of my old Boxing Illustrateds and she was ranked, I think it was the early 80's or something.
