Of course, it would be better. We could charge $1000 a seat and keep the rabble out.

You know, I never got how people would say they could see someone was a star from the beginning of their career. I'd look at Julia Roberts and say "That's a four dollar prostitute, right there." Perfect for the role of Pretty Woman but I don't get the rest of her career.

It's sort of like how people go crazy over Usyk, and I just don't see it. Lomachenko I sort of see it, but if he were as good as people say he is he wouldn't have lost to Salido. They gush about how Lomachenko won his first world title by his 3rd fight, but he was already 27. Most of the best guys get titles younger than that. Pacquiao had a title at 20, Morales 21, Barrera 21, De La Hoya 21, Mayweather 21. When a guy hasn't had a decade of amateur experience and wins a belt on his third fight I'll be impressed. Of course, he'll probably be 18.

This is getting a bit off topic but studies show that the irreligious believe in more paranormal, magic, psychics, curses, etc than religious people. Also, not all terrorists believe in god or gods. We've had plenty of atheist communist or anarchist terrorists over the years. The twentieth century is full of examples of the former and the 19th of the latter. As for the Catholic priests, studies have shown that they don't molest children at a greater rate than school teachers or the general public. The hysteria surrounding the claims is either manufactured due to anti-Catholic bigotry in this predominantly Protestant country, the way that it often gets whipped up about Muslims, or a reaction to the institutional cover up like the one at Penn State with it's football program; or that British cover up with the politicians and television stars. Either way, that behavior is not unique to religious organizations or religious people.

Speaking as a fan of film, Dune sucked. It wasn't over my head. I loved Tree of Life and my favorite film is Fellini's 8 1/2. I loved the book, read it in two days, fell asleep with it in my hands because I couldn't put it down. David Lynch just sucks.

You were right about one thing though. Barcham is a troglodyte.

 The Julia Roberts thang, that's true. That $4 hooker making $20 mil per movie tho, or was making that much back then. Beauty really is in the eye of the beholder. The pushup bra really did wonders for her for Erin Brokovich.

You would think this is the solution, but you forgot about the sanctioning bodies.

These guys will find a way to give out STAR FIGHTER badges to everyone and their granma.

But that's not the real problem. The difficulty lies when these alphabet soups hand out INTERIM STAR FIGHTER coupons. Then you would lose your mind keeping track if these interim stars have expired coupons, hence losing their interim star status. I wonder if you can unsee their fights once you find out the fighters you have watched are actually not bona fide cardcarrying STARS.

I guess Khaosai Galaxy won't be needing any badges from these bastiches eh?

YV Canis Majoris has been ducking the Sun for years. Nobody cares about VB 10 he doesn't put asteroids and comets in orbit. Sirius is all flash.

Yeah, the film Dune sucked.. Not a huge fan of Sting either.

The book was amazing though, I was hooked from the first page... The film could have been much better.

I never did watch the mini-series, and for some reason never got around to reading any of the other Dune books(except for the first) even though I was told they are good too.

I may have to check out the series, sadly I don't get the reading time I used to get, I won't get to read many more books until my kids get a little older.
