Deciding what is the best Klitschko punch, pre-Steward, is kinda hard...!!! It's like eating a can of beans and saying which one gave you the farts (how's that for Boxed Ears-ism...??? )
If there was an up and coming heavyweight who was WRECKING guys like Wladimir was, the boxing world would be beyond excited. He had the burden of trying to build a name during the hangover from the Tyson/Lewis era.
Wlad has become more exciting in recent fights. He's more offensively minded, it's really only the clinching in the Povetkin fight that has marred his recent performances and even then in that fight Wlad went all out for the KO when he had Povetkin hurt had he not smothered his work he probably would have stopped Povetkin. It's always hard for any champion to follow a great champion, especially one who was so similar in Lewis. Wlad's standing will likely increase after he retires and we are left with the inferior fighters like Fury, Wilder etc.
Hmm, he doesnt throw it much, he grapples instead. But there arent many heavyweights with many uppercut knockdowns or knockouts.
Wlad doesn't know how to throw an uppercut. I have never heard, nor seen him throw a meaningful one in a fight.
Wlad does not know how to fight on the inside either. So, that's another reason why he never threw an uppercut. Its really bad to try to throw one from outside. he has 0 inside game his game is: Clinch
How many 6'6 Heavyweights have been able to fight on the inside? Not many. Gerry ****ey and Bowe come to mind but Bowe is like 6'4. Fury claims to be an inside fighter but he is feather fisted. Doesn't make sense for a guy with the height and Jab like Wlad to 'fight inside'. Why didn't Ali fight inside?
Firsty , punch power has nothing to do with inside fighting. Secondly , only somebody who has zero understanding of boxing would call a 6'9 man of over 250 pound 'feather fisted'. Guys don't quit on their stool against feather fisters. The fact you left out Lewis further reinforces the fact you know nothing at all about boxing.
