yeah golovkin will get a ppv...if he can drag a big named welter or jr mw up for a fight.....but he wont be ppv'ing anymore lemieuxs of the world you can bank on that
Why do you think he didn't? I thought that's where most of the criticism came from, him being willing to fight Froch @ 168 but not Ward?
well ana....he said he was willing to fight froch... then again...they've been floating a lot of names...degale, Hopkins, Ramirez loeffler said Ramirez was best fight for ggg if he cant get bjs or canelo next....then a few days later ggg is saying "Ramirez needs more fights...not big enough name yet"... sooooo
So? Does that make Froch who openly said that he wasn't gonna fight Golovkin and even if he wanted to, It wouldn't be healthy for him to try to make 168 a liar? Not to say he ducked GGG, he earned to retire obviously.
saying you wanna fight an old guy near retirement is one thing but would u fight him at 172? would u fight him in his own backyard so you can guarantee him 9-10 mil? ggg prob not willing to do those things if he were froch might have considered it
Ummm, Golovkin specifically called Froch out for a fight at Wembley, cuz that's where It'd generate the most money. Same Froch who was considering coming back to beat DeGale for his old belt several months after he announced his retirement.
I don't think so. But I wouldn't expect him to, since that was around the same time when Froch said he could come back to win his old belt from DeGale.
Hint: Fact based arguments don't work on Schlockmaster. For what it's worth I also don't think Froch ducked GGG since he was officially retired. He did make a lot of noise about being too big and strong for Gena though
well I mean...he said 168 wasn't healthy for him....so unless ggg was willing to do 172 then theres no point really even if froch did say he could beat degale.....cause ya know...guys say things a lot and if theres one thing Ive learned here "you cant take everything fighters say at face value...they say things they don't mean sometimes"
Yeah. The question here is, how do you came to the conclusion that GGG didn't want to fight Froch when Cobra's own promoter, Hearn, has stated that team Golovkin was very keen to make the fight?
If anyone thinks Froch was scared of Triple B side they're crazy. Froch is an old school warrior and wasn't afraid of anyone in the sport. He was simply tired of the sport felt he had nothing left to prove and retired.
You GGG nut huggers need to get over yourselves, froch would have brutalised the pygmy. He's fought no one of size, experience or durability, Murray asked questions, frochs' 5 inch reach advantage would have left GGG looking like a bag of chopped liver. Compared to froch he's a dwarf in both stature and achievements
