BE, I'm not sure even you know when you're being satirical anymore. Athletifact is outstanding though.
Think there is a happy medium here. saying the guy deserves to go to prison is ridiculous, but he definitely showed bad judgment and may need to lose his mandatory status.
I think a simple fine and a rescheduling of the fight should happen. There is two ways to look at this. Following the letter of the law or following the spirit of the law. In this case I believe the latter is the way to go. This is not an anabolic steroid, in fact it is sold legally in Russia and doesn't even need a dcotor's prescription. Basically like buying a nasal decongestant. Add in the fact that his levels were below not over the legal limit and that the medicine was just recently banned in January there is a lot of gray area or wiggle room so to speak. This is not the same as testing for high testerone, or some illegal steroid. There seem to be two camps of ppl on this fight those who wanted to see the fight and hope it gets rescheduled. And those that were afraid of the fight and are hiding behind this to try and remove Povetkin from the sport. I say pay a fine. Let Wilder have an interim bout. Test again with a 0 tolerance policy. And in the words of Mills Lane Let's get it on!!
We're gonna beat Crooked Sasha. We're going to win and win and win until you get tired of winning. #makeboxinggreatagain

If Povetkin is hated because he's Eastern European, is Wilder hated because he's African American? And if so, doesn't it balance out?
It's taken to speed recovery after workouts. That's what people take it for. It's not a nasal decongestant. It helps your body recover more quickly after a hard workout. It's a PED. Sharapova was just banned for two years in tennis for taking the same thing. He took it. It was banned. He got caught. Who cares if you can buy it over the counter in Russia. Hell, half of the sh!t on the shelves in your local GNC store in the U.S. will get you banned from a pro sport if you take it. But you don't need a doctor's prescription to buy any of it. Enough already. Povetkin is over. He blew it.
