I hate this "there have been bigger robberies" mantra I see from certain posters when a ****ed up decision goes down. A robbery is a robbery. I don't care if you're robbed at knife point, handgun point or if a dude in a ****ing TANK demands your money..it's still a robbery. There's no "well there's been worse ones out there!" sort of attitude when it comes to robbery. I don't think I've ever said, "Yeah he stole my jacket but at least he didn't steal my wallet like last time!" attitude when I got robbed. This isn't meant to be directed at you Thunder. You've been all class about this..it's just an attitude I've seen rising recently.
Yeah, I've read some posts talking about robberies in Germany Colombia, and Canada lol...and those same countries saw Mel get robbed here in the states, Lennox get robbed, and many other fighters get robbed and think the same thing about us American's robbing fighters lol.
It's one thing to get jacked up by the judges. The idea is you do all you can to take it out of the judges hands. Andrade did that. He still got the stickshaft from the ref of all people. Get a competent ref and have the fight in Canda again. Why not? Hot crowd, big audience, massive money making event for boxing..it's good for the sport. What's NOT good for the sport is the officiating job we saw tonight. I hate to compare fighters because of locales..but it's very similar to Diaconu and Chris Henry from a while ago.
