    Sand running out of the hourglass. That is superb. Worthy of Mullan or Hugh McIlvanney. That's exactly how it was.

    I agree, when Carlos Palomino stopped WBC Champion John H. Stracey on June 22 1976, I was surprised as only on Dec 6 1975 Stracey stopped defending Champion Jose Mantequilla Napoles in round 6 in Mexico City, Mexico, after Napoles decked John in the opening round. I thought that Stracey would reign as champion for years to come. But Palomino was very effective with his brutal body punching.
