You are picking a very specific fight where he fought an unmotivated opponent that he hurt early on. Even then he missed so many of those punches and its interesting how you don't see poor form there. You are right, he did transfer his weight Here. (I was talking about the Bruno fight) A little too much though. To the point where he literally spinned 90 degrees when he missed. He looks so stiff and slow throwing every single Punch and moving his body back into position. Guy fights Like a statue.
The guy lost 1/4 of his fights to practically every other name opponent in his era. Contrary to popular belief, he neither hits as hard as Foreman nor is his chin better. Smith was stopped 7x (2 by KO), was on the canvas 3x. He quit 3x. Foreman was KOd once after punching himself out against arguably the greatest HW of all time and was desperately trying to win. The only time Smith showed any heart and toughness at all was against a green Bruno landing a hail Mary punch to bail himself out.
Did also see how good Smith was at eating punches with his face? That's something you should teach your boxers.
He can't be a real trainer. If he is, he needs to be fired immediately. Did you read his hilarious game plan for how Smith should beat Foreman? He posted it earlier in this thread. Just attack Foreman in a straight line with no regard for defense the way Smith went after Witherspoon and Weaver.
There really wasnt any difference between him and Ruddock. Its becoming apparent that we are not dealing with reality Here. Some posters on Here Will force delusions on others to support their views.
Ruddock gassed in 6 rounds against Morrison Ruddock gassed in 7 rounds against Jaco Foreman gassed in 8 against Ali Weird. Why wouldn't you lie?
