Hey CT, in order of appearance and re-appearance, on a quick view the opposition was/is :-

Besmanoff Harris. Westphal Whitehurst Machen Rush Besmanoff Williams. Whitehurst Martin. Machen. Westphal. Besmanoff Bethea Besmanoff Whitehurst Machen Wepner Besmanoff Joiner

Side notes: It seems Westphal may still be alive at age 90! However, some sites do oversight the actual passing of some people and simply calculate an age as per DOB.

It’s claimed Bethea lost 7 teeth during the 69 seconds the fight lasted vs Liston. You can see the ref. pull out the mouth guard and look at it - this is when he saw the teeth and stopped the fight - the actual number lost might be open to question I guess.

Also, I believe it was claimed to be the first time Bethea was ever put down (correct?) and the first and only time he was ever stopped/KO’d.

 

My bad. I should’ve been more clear. The two opponents in the specific examples I believe JT was pointing to were Roy Harris and Billy Joiner respectively.
