My best shot? Okay. I shall attempt to meet the challenge. If there is such a film, it would likely be a home movie or video taken by a friend or family member of one of the fighters. It might be a precious family heirloom which no one has watched since it was originally processed (or will want to ever watch again). Likely, it was this fellow's first and only professional fight. Hopefully, the film is rotting away in an attic or basement somewhere.

 

He did alright for himself in that regard.

Participating in only the second fight ever filmed and against the HW champ no less. Leonard vs Cushing being the first filmed of course.

There’s only that film and a square off photo with Corbett for visual record of the man that I know of and we still speak of him to this day (128 years later) for one reason or another. Pretty cool.

Unfortunately, the poor basterd died just 4 years later at age 28 from consumption. Tougher times back then.

Corbett and his team would’ve known Courtney’s claimed record was bluff but likely happy to go along with it - easy target with a false rep.

In all possibility, Courtney might be someone’s great, great, etc..…ancestor preserved on film for his descendants well down the line.
