I think hes top 10 and ahead of Marciano, Fraizer and Tyson. They all became undisputed but had short runs and didnt beat the same level of opposition as Fury did. Even Fraizer who beat Ali wouldnt have a better resume than Tyson Fury who ended Wladimir Klitschkos reign (who I rate higher than most) and knocked out Wilder twice and would have beaten Usyk who beat AJ twice and is considered by many to be the #1 P4P fighter in the world.

Hard to say. He will be the best heavyweight in the world but at 35 or 36 it wouldn’t surprise me if he retired after that. That will mean he would have had a total of 5 heavyweights fights and only 2 notable opponents in Joshua an Fury. Is that enough to make him an heavyweight atg?

 

Food for thought: beating an aging Holmes, Ruddock x2, and Spinks is really similar to an aging Wlad, Wilderx2, and Usyk. Tyson would have many more credible victims beyond that comparison though.

 

Its not far off but its worse. Larry Holmes was retired and in a band. Wlad was the champ. Usyk is more proven at Heavyweight than Spinks. I rate Wilder higher than Ruddock.

 

It’s worse because Wlad was definitely ahead of Holmes at that point as reigning champ. Spinks was pretty much on par with Usyk. It’s hindsight to say otherwise. But Fury doesn’t even come close on depth after those three. Tyson would still rank ahead.

 

I have feeling this won't be an issue.

 

Tyson ruled for 4 years and won 10 world title fights, compared to Fury only winning 4 world title fights currently. I wouldn't say Mike Tyson's reign was that short, and i would say his resume looks more solid overall.
