I think it is fair to say that the fight will be won by the unfrazierly behavior rule. One of them will eventually have to turn to their old habits. Who will break first? I am not sure.
Peak Muhammad Ali of 1967, we never got to see Ali's prime, he was stripped of his title and boxing license in April 1967. In 1974 Ali was hardly in his prime, the year before he had his jaw broken by Ken Norton, the peak Ali was hardly ever touched as champion from 1964-1967.
Ali is the more versatile and adaptable - he would be a better Frazier than Larry could ever dream of being. Larry did try to be Ali and failed in that regard after all. Ali was a very good Cassius Clay also. I don’t think Larry’s Frazier could carry Ali’s Frazier’s jockstrap. Ali’s Frazier FTW.
Agreed. Besides being a half level better, Ali's hook, which was hardly a showcase was still better than Holmes which was almost non existent.
Sorry, tried to vote but it appears there is no poll feature to accomodate my selection. No offence CT, but it seems you’re a bit rusty.
So both have to wear green trunks like in FOTC in March 1971, get the same haircut as Smoking Joe? Ha Ha.
