As an older guy, he looked like a dedicated longtime weightlifter with no dietary discipline. Also not uncommon in gyms.

 

The older George Foreman was a kind old soul, selling his grills on infomercials with his smiling bald head. The younger version was a scowling man filled with contempt for his opponents. the older Foreman had a purpose in life, to build his churches yet the younger version's purpose was to seek and destroy his opponent in the ring, he had a killer instinct, the older version did not have a killer instinct.

 

If he had have avoided Jimmy Young victory was almost assured he didn’t even have to avenge his L to Ali he could’ve been rewarded with the “He was green” label. He would’ve been champion and we would’ve seen Larry Holmes fight someone actually on his tier as a young man.
