Same night as Bradley-Campbell. Doesn't seem it will be on TV... Anybody see their draw in South Africa? Was there a clear winner? One judge had Hlatshwayo up 117-110, and another had him losing 112-115. :think
you a fan? He's promising to starch the sturdy African. http://blog.nj.com/ledgerboxing/2009/07/rodriguez_plans_to_ko_hlatshwa.html
Damn! This is for the vacant IBF title. I would love to see Delvin take this. He won't keep the title long, but at least he'll get to take it home for a few minutes!
Does S. Africa have a major tv network that airs fights? Is there even footage theoretically out there?
Yeah should be..they film stuff out of Kempton park all the time. They sometimes play in on a channel called SABC2..which Im pretty sure is free to air. They beamed the Klassen vs St Clair fight to some places in the world because an Aussie i know watched in in Dubai.
Actually, it's an eliminator. Winner is Clottey's mando, methinks. BTW, if a little birdie wants to leave a few twigs in my next arranged in the shape of maybe a web resource where I could review the first fight, it would be much appreciated. :good
w00t! i hope delvin wins this time. hes my favorite lesser known fighter. doesnt get the respect he deserves, exciting guy.
I believe Clottey gave up his title to fight Cotto, so the winner will be the new IBF champion. I've seen a couple of Hlatshwayo's fight and he is definitely no joke, that being said all of his best wins were @ 135 (Cassius Baloyi, Phillip Ndou, and Nate Campbell) he did also go 12 rounds with Holt @ 140. He was very big as a 135 and 140 lber, but that is no longer the case @ 147, I still give him (Hlatshwayo) the edge to his experience and toughness but Rodriguez could definitely pull it out.
