Demand -DelaHoya vs. Margarito!

    Chavez did it for Oscar, now it's time he gives up the tourch to someone who's earned it the hard way. None of the BS with Pacquiao, that's a freaking circus fight.

    It's time the fans and main stream media hold DelaHoya accountable for his fame as a fighter, the Golden Boy needs to step up and fight someone his own size. He claimed he wants to fight a classic war in his final fight, so how he can pick someone who's 20lbs smaller like Pacquiao or someone like Trinidad who's shot over a mexican welter weight champ like Margarito?

    In all honesty, I don't think Hoya want's to fight Raza in his final match.
    That said....I'd buy a ticket in an instant.

    What has de la hoya done lately to deserve a superfight like margarito or anyone else.. ?
    at this age margarito, cotto, mayweather, williams all destroy him!
    he needs to retire before he ends up like james toney

    Oscar already ****ed up his legacy and reputation by choosing an elderly Chavez as an opponent twice. So the real reason he doesnt want Margarito is he is afraid.

    You're totally correct.

    The problem is, it doesn't make any difference. The ones buying into DLH's hype and stuff like the Pac fight right now are the extreme oscarsexuals and casual fans. They're not fans of the sport, but fans of Oscar as a person. It's mind-boggling, he was a great fighter but he's not an interesting personality, that's for sure.

    No matter what the die-hard fans think about it, Oscar will make plenty of money whatever he does. He was taking risks earlier in his career, but now you may be sure he'll never choose Margo over Pac.

    yes, this would also help bring mayweather out. if DLH wins then he could always fight PBF again.

    I would love to see a DLH-Margo match up. I just don't think he would choose someone a Margarito-likes or any far from easy opponent in his farewell fight.

    Yes, the fans should demand that Oscar fight Margarito. This fight must happen. It seems like a perfect send off for De la Hoya. He needs to get over this "I won't fight a Mexican" bull****. He never had problems fighting Jorge Paez or Julio Cesar CHavez, Wilfredo Rivera, or Miguel Angel Gonzalez.

    Pac work his way up to be the Mexicutioner. Pac is the one calling DLH. It Pac's camp who started it. DLH's not just Picking Pac. DLH's being Challenge by the #1 P4P. Is he up for the Challenge???

    Margarito needs to avenge his loss 1st to Williams before he can be worthy of a DLH fight. But by then it's too late. Tell Margo to call pac after Pac beat DLH. Pac will be up to the challenge if the Price is right.
