Watch his elbow in the second round; that was on purpose. Then he has the nerve to go after Valero when he tries to alert the referee. Maybe a problem in the heart department too as he refused to try to go the distance.
It certainly looked as the elbow had a spec of bad intentions behind it, but I don't think that was the case as Demarco seems a nice clean fighter. As for heart, I can see where you're coming from, but you need to understand he was on the recieving end of monster shots. Whilst alot of the Valero combinations that landed like seemed pitter patter, they did actually pack some serious power behind them. Demarco done very well to give off the impression he wasn't hurt, but in reality those shots were taking a serious toll on him, as was evident in the way he would slump to his stool at the end of every round.
what? he was throwing a punch and his hand got tangled up on valeros arm and it twisted his arm around. this is just dumb. what a surprise for the terrible general forum
This is spot on. It is clear that as he threw the punch his hand got tangled and the elbow kept coming from the momentum. He went and apologized repeatedly after the fight; and seemed genuinely sorry.
your avatar is awesome. i have two boxers and i want to have jetski paint them and put gloves on them like this :good
your opinion its idiotic,do you know what protect yourself at all times mean? when valero was trying to alert the ref,any boxer that has killer instincts would of done the same, and the elbow, even if it was intentional(by the way it wasn't)he is not the first or last boxer that does that, howw about Jermain taylor?.....any boxer that goes inside the ring, even when it seems it dont belong there, gets my respect because it takes a lot of guts to go there and hit eachother!
Thanks :good Boxers are absolutely my favorite breed. I just lost mine to cancer and am a little scared to buy another because it is so common with boxers.
yea unfortunatly it is, there is no breed quite as entertaining though click on my avatar, i have a picture of my male boxer Liston there when he was still a young puppy
It wasn't intentional. Valero put up his right arm in protection and it just clipped it and changed direction.
Very nice looking dog. Are you planning on cropping the ears? Mine had her ears cropped; but my wifes boxer didn't. My wife says if we get another no way the ears get cropped - she prefers the flopped look.
it looked like an accident but you have a good point, you would think he wouldn't go after him if it was an accident, he knew he did it, and he was sorry. He didn't want anymore, he is full of it by mentioning his family wanting to protect him, he didn't even make a peep about wanting more, but they did the right thing as he was just going to take more damage and couldn't find another gear or another way to fight. I don't know if he doesn't have at least some heart though, I think he was just beaten down by an insane puncher, DeMarco was taking a ton of huge shots and never was badly hurt, he has a good chin. The fight was beaten out of him you could see it in his face rounds before it was stopped but Valero was boxing and pounding the hell out of him, it made sense to surrender, but of course do to it in Monterrey in front of the Mexicans is a hard thing to live with. Not everyone can be Gatti. For some reason his quitting didn't bother me as much as some of the others. He just seemed like a totally beaten man, nobody had any illusions about that, what bothers me is when they try to bail out of something and maintain the illusion that they weren't getting there ass kicked to high heaven, like Judah / Clottey
haha nope, i'm with your wife. both my male and female have floppy ears. i think they look more approachable this way anyways
