It's excellent that Valero is starting to get tested. This is the year he either needs to announce himself as a legitimate, championship caliber fighter or a powerful, yet limited, puncher who has an inflated KO ratio from subpar opposition.

Valero is a beast! He seriously is just out for blood, has no intention of even defending himself lol, some times a bit flat footed, definitely DeMarco will test him and expose that weak defense, cant wait to see that fight

I noticed DeMarco's last fight he fought different just trying to outbox his opponent instead of get them out of there probably in preperation for Valero. Should be a good fight but Valero will ice DeMarco by the end of it ...DeMarco's a better boxer but his defense isn't good at all he will get caught and he will go down. Who knows though Valero's horrible habit of sticking his chin up could get him knocked out eventually if he doesn't fix it I doubt DeMarco will be the one to do it though. It's strange you watch Valero sparring and he's pretty damn good most all his sparring partners talk about his power and strengh I know one of the Santa Cruz brothers said he hit harder than Margarito and that was when Valero was a super featherweight. But when it comes to Pro fights he seems to throw that out of the window he still set's up his power punches but for the most part he goes ape**** and doesn't bother defending himself. I hope with time he will put it all toghether. Still Valero will KO DeMarco.

Demarco has a lot of different punches. He works the body, nice uppercuts, nice jab, decent power and his footwork is pretty good too. Valero is a one handed fight, wild punches, bad defense, no head movement, but extremely confident and quick with his feet and hands but has he even gone past round 2?

DeMarco will be very confident and fight a smart fight. He'll either make Valero respect him or even knock him out. I think he's ready for this

If you've watched the career of both you should notice Valero for one at the very least is not a one handed fighter he get's most his KO's by cominations and his right hook is as much of a weapon as his left cross. Also he has been much less wild lately, bad defense and no head movement though I agree. Valero hasn't gone past the second round much but then again DeMarco's only and biggest test/win was Almazbek Raiymkulov who after getting stopped by Campbell faded into oblivion.

DeMarco has a very average chin so I think he eats canvas within 4-5 rounds. I think he'll try to box a bit early but Valero will pressure and catch him with shots at which point DeMarco will revert to his usual give and take style which should spell the end of him. Valero will KO him with a massive right hook counter similar to what JML did to Ponce de Leon I think.

DeMarco is a tough southpaw. It's gonna be a great fight. Valero by mid-rounds knockout imo. Will be a war while it lasts.

Valero's offensive arsenal is two-handed and he can counterpunch nicely when he needs to. His power and aggression will be too much for a brave DeMarco.

As for Valero "throwing away all that he does in sparring" when he fights, I've always believed he has done this since he hasn't needed to do it. I think he has all those tricks up his sleeve ready to use them when he needs them.

i hope demarco can pull this through, but i think valero is going to ice him. demarco hasn't fought a live southpaw yet and valero can crack! i hope he can box his ears off though.

I think Valero would finish this fight in 4 rounds.

I dont rate DeMarco as highly as you lads.

I like DeMarco, but he's not as good as his PR campaign. I believe Valero is going to light him up, real bad and real quick.
