That and Corley tried to fight him in close which was a huge mistake. If he had used the ring more and kept him at bay with the jab he may have only got knocked down 6 times instead of 8. i do think that Lucas is not an easy fight for anyone. Would love to see Kahn (wont happen) or Maidana.

    Round 4

Medina has discovered a right uppercut in his arsenal and mixes it in to some effect as they battle on the inside. Ledesma is getting scrappy now, throwing punches in bunches and trying desperately to land something heavy on the button before getting clinched and mauled by the bigger man. Medina grabs the left arm of Ledesma and stretches it, yanking back with it pinned under his right armpit. Medina flails in a sloppy whirl of motion before clinching Ledesma up again. Medina holds, and hits with his right hand. Ledesma tries to bang his way out, and winds up out of the frying pan and into the fire: trapped on the ropes at mid-range where Medina just smacks away at him. Medina puts his arms straight up in the air like a jackass with twenty seconds left and then dives back in for some more cat-fighting. Ledesma stumbles back to the ropes and looks a bit hurt, but is saved by the bell.

It should be a five-point shutout UD for Medina but I certainly don't want to see him again.

Yea given the opportunity i think he could make some noise, they will probably attempt to put him in with L. Peterson at some point if he can beat another decent name i can also see them making a fight with Maidana.

As for him vs Judah. He lost that fight...it's not like he was straight up robbed. The first 6,7 rounds or so he lost pretty much all of them and the 12th round was close. Just because he would have won in a 15 round fight doesn't mean he was robbed because he dominated Judah at the end. It was a close fight, 1 point in favor of either fighter.

I just went back and tallied the knockdowns.

    There were actually nine.

    Nine. In 4 rounds.

    Round 5: 2
    Round 6: 1
    Round 7: 3
    Round 8: 3 (including the wave-off)

Six of them were from left hooks to the body.

I went to sleep soon after I made my post :patsch

Sky broadcast starts at 8pm GMT and is scheduled to finish at 11pm :good. If it's starting that early I don't think they'll start with McDonnell-Jamoye first up. So that's from 3pm EST to 6pm EST.

Why didn't Corley outbox him like Zab did? Thats the way to beat him. Alsom that ref was terrible well out of his depth and a poor stoppage to say the least. Shows just how talented Zab really is to tear Matthysee to part like he did.

Wtf? Zab didn't do **** to Lucas in that fight. It was more of Lucas being way too patient until Zab runs out of gas. When Lucas was finally doing the pressure, he bother Judah in a big way.

:rofl Matthysse had a slow start and really troubled Judah. He was unlucky not to get the decision.
