These are fairly ignorant comments, really.

Have either of you seen Corley's last two fights? Do you even know anything about them?

he went the distance with Maidana when everyone said these same things about Chop Chop, "oh he's getting brutally KO'd in the 4th."

yeah, yeah. I actually hope Chop Chop can come and outwork this plodder (nothing against Lucas).

I hope the best for Corley and his family. Doesn't he have to take care of 14 kids?

Maidana/Matthysee has FOTY candidate written all over it. I want to see that BADLY. I prefer this matchup much more over Klit(either one)/Haye & Floyd/Manny any day.

That said, Corley surprised me when he lost a decision to a big bomber like Maidana instead of getting ko'd. I really don't know what he has left but I look forward to his fight with Lucas. Corley is known to give some good fights such as those with Cotto, Mayweather, & recently Maidana. He was a good contender but now is at a gatekeeper level.

Matthysse will probably win, but I can see the fight being competitive. Corley's fought everybody and seen everything, so he knows all the tricks of the trade.

Matthysse was ripped-off in the fight with Judah. Judges were criminals!

World ranked Lucas Matthysse (27-1, 25 KOs) of Argentina and former world champion Demarcus “Chop Chop” Corley (36-15-1, 22 KOs) faced off yesterday. The two will meet this Friday in Mendoza, Argentina. It will be Corley’s second trip to Argentina in less than 5 months. The 36-year-old Corley gave then-WBA super lightweight interim champion Marcos Maidana (29-2, 27 KOs) all he could handle in losing a very competitive decision this past August. The 28-year-old Matthysee will look to rebound from his narrow decision loss to former multi-divisional champion Zab Judah (40-6, 27 KOs) last month. Matthysse-Corley will air on HBO Plus in Latin America and Telefutura in the U.S.

I'll keep my eyes peeled for weigh-in info/pics/vids. :good
