Lucas looked really good. Much better than he did vs. Zab. I was impressed. I think maybe he just doesnt travel well. Credit to Chop, but should have been stopped sooner. Every one of those punches was doing damage and after I dont knoe the 4th knockdown he had no chance of winning. There was more of a chance of serious injury. The corner and the ref did not protect him when they should have.

****, Medina has like a six inch height advantage at least and this just looks like man vs. boy in every way. Medina even has old man hair (and Ledesma has a baby face). They keep clinching, over and over. Not much action to report on. A few jabs now from Ledesma. Medina backs clumsily into a corner and they clinch awkwardly once more. And again. The referee is going hoarse from calling for breaks. Now they begin posturing from several feet apart and staring each other down rather than clinching. It's equally unexciting. Medina steps forward and somehow bowls Ledesma over (head over heels) with what appeared to be just a jab. Ledesma gets up and Medina walks right into a jab that stuns him.

    10-8 Medina, I guess.

If there was a "pure heart HOF", Corley would be 1st ballot.

Just imo but I had the zab/matthysse fight a close one, didnt see this clear cut victory for Lucas that seems to be the case. Scoring round by round I think it was a close fight. Want to rewatch as maybe Id rescore it differently but cant find it on youtube.

Part of it is having a hard act to follow, but no...this really is just a stinker. A true "walk-out bout" if ever there was one. Medina chases Ledesma into a corner and rams into him, with Ledesma going down and rules a slip (appropriately, as a clean power punch between these two would be nothing short of a miracle). Double jab to the face by Ledesma and Medina bends down and shoots in to grab him around the waist (again, Medina is like half a foot taller). Medina finally starts fighting tall (sort of), leaving a jab hanging out and snapping it in Ledesma's face when he comes forward. Medina is just keeping his hands up high and whacking down on the top/back of Ledesma's head when the shorter man rushes in before they clinch.

    20-17 Medina

Credit Zab's fast hands and decent power that kept Lucas at bay for the majority of the early rounds, as Zab's stamina went Matthysse started to take over he is relentless and if you don't gain his respect it gonna be a long night or short night actually.

Now Matthysse is gonna have a real hard time getting fights cause nobody is going to want to fight him. High risk low reward. If you manage to beat him, people will just say well even a shot Zab beat him. If you lose to him then you probably got your face rearranged and after a short stint in the hospital youll never get a big fight again.

    Round 3

Medina is just whipping the right hand up and over to play whack-a-mole with the top of Ledesma's head. Medina is pushing him back physically and just palm-slapping him across the skull against the ropes. Ledesma tries to stand and box at mid-range but keeps getting clinched and/or bopped on the head. He switches tack, and tries to sell out with wide sweeping leaping left hooks to the body but can't get inside with them. Medina clubs with a right hand rabbit punch while pulling Ledesma violently into a clinch with his left.

This mulleted ******* is dirty!

Exactly, the only fight i see him getting is Maidana or maybe the Alexander v. Bradley loser, Khan will definitely stay away from this dude.
