how would you rate Demarcus''Chop Chop''Corley before the loss to Judah?

today he is a stepping stone, but, before the loss to Zab, what you thought about it?

    good?
    Great?

    or bum?

I think you can say with 100% certainty that he was neither great nor a bum. Hell, he's not even a bum now.

He was a contender that posed a tough test to anyone in the top 10. His fight with Zab was very close and Zab barely got by... but then again Judah has the mental fortitude of an 8 year old

He was a very good fighter in the early/mid 2000s...solid fighter, nothing about him stands out.

Solid B fighter even to this day, he just didn't have all the pieces it took to be an elite fighter, good/underrated at many things, great at nothing.

Fair assesment, he fights to the level of his competiton, and gives a tough match no matter what, I'm still trying to figure out how he couldn't finish Cotto, after having him on ***** street for almost a whole round, he just didn't have it all, to be that elite fighter

Some people thought he beat Judah back then, so make of that what you will. He was a titlist and Ricky Hatton turned him down as an opponent at the time saying he wasn't ready for him (or didn't fancy the risk reward). He had Cotto on ***** street and had him close to going despite being outweighed by about 16lbs in the ring, that stoppage was also premature. He buzzed Mayweather too, more than anyone maybe bar Mosley. He lost pretty clearly in his WBC Witter title fight. Since then he's gone into a journeyman role but many had him beating Maidana

He was fun to watch...loved his Cotto fight made me a bigger fan

he hurt Floyd in their fight and gave Judah all he could handle

from time to time he will put in a masterful performance like vs Maidana or when he got screwed on FNF

    fun to watch

He was a world champion in 02-03. He arguably beat Zab and he did beat Bailey and Julio. He was a talented fighter, hell hes past it now and you can still see hes got a great skillset.
