He is a solid 37 year old fighter who will fight anybody anywhere, former world champion and a gentleman!! He TKO'd Paul McCloskey fair and square!! After the result was announced I saw someone throw a drink over him and then when they did the interviews PM was spoken to for a long time and then when it was DC's turn to speak, one question and a well done now **** off sort of attitude to him... It wasn't on, as Brits or irish for that matter, we pride ourselves on sportsmanship!! he should of gotten more praise I feel. Very good win for Demarcus...
I noticed that in the interview. I was like this is cool, I like it when two fighters sit side by side for a interview, but just one question?? What a joke. Good win, over a limited amateurish fighter. He looked slick, accurate and quick. Only thing was lacking was his workrate, a few years ago he would have gotten McCloskey out of there with a cleaner stoppage. He deserves a decent fight I feel. How bout Mike Jones if he beats Randall Bailey, or is Jones too god for this class now?
Yeah I thought that interview was a disgrace, how ****ing rude can you get DeMarcus is a warrior and a gent
they should have put corley in with khan next week corley said he wanted to, it would of been an ok stay busy fight for khan and atleast people could watch a fight still
I agree. They ask him just one question, and that was in regards to McCloskey . It was a, "Yeah yeah, good win, but what did you think of the stoppage?", and then when he gives a good, respectful answer, they're like "Yeah, whatever. **** off". Check at 52:50. Even Corley was thinking, "Is that it, you ****s?" [ame]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TPa_RgeP0dw[/ame]
No surprise when you're talking about Sly Sports. He did get a decent round of applause from the more sporting members of the audience when he was announced as winner, and he's got his win and possibly a rejuvinated career so he ain't gonna be too worried about it.
Yeah, Chop Chop is a good dude. Laid back and quite. I went to Junior high school with him. Always was sharp when it came to boxing and always in shape. I remember when he first won a title. He would walk around the neighborhood with his belt on. That dude eat and sleep boxing!
chop chop will just not go away!!! had a terrible losing streak (some robberies) but damned if he didn't set himself up for another shot! haha unreal
