Might we see a JTFO KO in this fight?

Here's Williams sparking the teak-tough never previously stopped Kris Carslaw out on his face with a jab

:nonono Not only will Liam win, but it'll be by absolute destruction. Williams 2.0 is all wrong for Boo Boo. He's cutting off the ring far better, his pressure is frantic and suffocating, his jab is heavy, thudding, persistent and pulverizing. He's a hell of a lot better on the inside, and works his opponents over effectively in the clinch, and his straight rights are a lot less predictable, due to the angles he's throwing them from and the fact that he's now doubling and tripling up on the jab. His vastly improved upper body and head movement along with his high guard defense is on point, and his speed is equal to Andrade's, and his ability to find openings is seamless and fluid. People will be shocked at how easily Williams dispatches him, and will have nothing to do with catching the profoundly overrated Andrade at the right time. He's always been there for the taking for a guy with the proper tools for the job, and Liam has two toolboxes full.

When Williams wins this, they'll be a real chance of Williams vs Derevyanchenko..... what a fight that'd be!

Andrade's awkward style might just be all wrong for him but make no mistake If Williams touches that chin of his he's going to know all about it and if he catches him clean or with a sequence of big shots (and like I said he put his shots together very well) he might not know anything about it until he regains consciousness because Williams can really punch and he's accurate and can pick out nice shots too.

Look at this fast three punch combination from him within seconds of the opening bell. He's not some slow unskilled caveman. Robinson really felt that last right hand too.

Williams is 15-2 (15 KOs) in his last 17 fights and he stopped a bunch of extremely durable fighters who either don't ever get stopped or very rarely do

Darryl Sharp has only been stopped once in 78 fights, by Williams

Dan Blackwell has only been stopped once in 76 fights, by Williams

Karim Achour has only been stopped once in 36 fights, by Williams. Murderous punching David Lemieux couldn't stop Achour

Kris Carslaw has only been stopped once in 28 fights, by Williams

Alantez Fox has only been stopped once in 29 fights, by Williams

Joe Mullender has only been stopped once in 14 fights, by Williams

Andrew Robison had only been stopped once before in 29 fights

And Williams isn't just stopping these guys he's taking them out in real style

A poster on here who knows Sharp said he told them this

''I know Darryl Sharp personally he has been in with some good fighters and he said the power and the accuracy of Williams was something else, something he never experienced in sparring or fighting and he has sparred big light heavyweights!''

Here's what Carslaw had to say about Williams' power

'Carslaw’s manager, Tommy Gilmour was quick to defend his fighter after describing Williams as a “beast of a man” and a potential future world champion.

Such is 23-year-old Williams’ punching power that Carslaw could not even recall details of his early stoppage and he was ultimately forced to watch a recording of the bout on You Tube to familiarise himself with what had happened.

But he confessed: “I could not remember the second round. I thought I had recovered from my first round knock-down after taking the eight count but obviously I had not.

“I’m just glad that I’m alright because Williams is a bit special. I have been in against a few good ones like Michel Soro for the European title, but none of them could punch like this guy.

He added: “It was always going to be a tough battle, but Williams is exceptional to the extent that I would not be at all surprised if he goes on to become a world champion.

“It’s also a measure of Williams’ power that Kris could not recall clearly what happened in the second round. He gave it his best shot, but I knew I was watching a touch of class; someone special who was just too good for him.”

And common opponent Alantez Fox on Williams vs Andrade

'LIAM WILLIAMS POSSESSES the power and tools to part Demetrius Andrade from his WBO world middleweight title, according to shared foe Alantez Fox.

The Maryland man, known as SlyAsa, was spectacularly knocked off his WBO No.1 ranked perch by the formidable middleweight force of Welshman Williams in December of last year, with ‘The Machine’ pounding the American before forcing a fifth round stoppage.

Fox’s only other reverse came against the current champion back in 2017 when Andrade clocked up a wide points victory over his countryman.

It makes the 6ft 4″ 28-year-old ideally placed to assess the prospect of mandatory challenger Williams taking on Andrade, once he has dealt with the domestic duty of defending his British title against Andrew Robinson, live on BT Sport 1 on Saturday.

“I don’t think Liam was better than I thought. He was everything I expected him to be – aggressive, strong and hitting hard. I just don’t think I was all the way there.

“I believe he is a good fighter though, definitely, I don’t think I would have lost if he wasn’t,” added Fox, who suspects an intriguing clash of styles will come into play when and if the pair meet.

“I believe the comparison between Andrade and Williams is the classic boxer versus kinda sort of brawler. Liam Williams is very aggressive and he comes to fight. He comes to box a bit, but he comes for war and to get in there to fight on the inside, which is what he will try and do against Andrade.

“If Andrade doesn’t box enough, or doesn’t box well, more than likely Liam Williams will take that victory. I want to say Williams hits harder than Andrade and I understand why people would ask the question because he ended up stopping me in the fifth round.

“Liam Williams does hit hard and he does have good punch placement.”

Fox concluded that geography, as well as styles, could be the making of having a new middleweight champion.

“I think some factors play into this fight. If Demetrius Andrade goes over there, it is a big ass difference. If Liam Williams has to fight here (the USA) that is a big difference too and I believe an Andrade win.

“It will be a boxer v brawler type of fight, but Andrade isn’t weak. He will have to be on his P’s and Q’s though against Williams,.

“That isn’t to say Liam Williams doesn’t possess the strength and guile to go in there and upset a lot of people. I am kind of on the fence over this one.”

If only. I sat through his fight with Kautondokwa in 2018. (had gotten tix for my bday when it was still BJS vs. Andrade, so at least then I would've seen him get exposed and zero-snatched..)

I have a hard time believing that anyone who lost to Liam Smith twice could beat Andrade.
