Demetrius Andrade On Benavidez: "When I Beat Him, He's Young Enough To Endure The Loss"

Benavidez is in tough versus Canelo. Dude is a plodding fighter whose been hurt by counterpunches before (Gavril). The question really comes down to which version of Canelo will Benavidez fight? Cause Canelo sure AF looks over the hill and has for years now, but sometimes great fighters can pull a rabbit out of their hat one more time...sort of like what Floyd did to Canelo at 35-36.

 

David took a long time to get going against Plant, but Plant engaged in a lot of spoiling, holding, and downright dirty tactics and still barely managed to survive.

I was left impressed.

 

True same, This one could even go the full twelve unless Benavidez's tries his hardest to get Andrade cornered to unload his combinations in hopes to stopping him, with that said Andrade has good power himself i hope we don't get a rust Andrade for this, great measuring stick for both guys.

The odds are $4.00 for Demetrius that's a bit steep too.

 

Yeah, I'm looking forward to this one. Even the undercard looks interesting. Great tie-in to the holiday weekend.

 

Benavides is a younger fighter so has had less opportunities, plus he’s been avoided

 

Navarrete vs Concecaio was a better fight IMO.

 

He's also failed a drug test and missed weightm

 

Missed it & then had someone give me the fight but it didn't play well & then the spoilers ruined it all bad.
