I think it was when he was fighting Grady Brewer, when he kept saying that **** about "tell me how great I am" and that **** just came off weird to me.
that's strange. I dont remember that but that's a little weird. if you take the time to consider his performance against brewer alone, especially since grady had been streaking, it's impressive man.
[ame]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=M_WLFZAvCsQ[/ame] After listening to what Peter Manfredo says and looking at this interview. Also recognizing that he is physically feeling out completely now, I think he will be a top fighter, again though, I don't know about that elite level at 154, after 1 more fight I wouldn't mind seeing him in there with Molina.
The kid has skills but I question his chin. Not sure why, just got the feeling he'll end up getting iced as soon as he runs into someone that can really bang.
He should stay at jmw as there is no slick boxers apart from Lara, Andrade's style could give alot of the top jmw hell, hes definitely gonna one of the best in the division, its just curious to see if they step him up at the right time.
You do realize that was only Rudy Cisneros opposite him the other night, right? :yep Boo Boo is an idiot, but he is talented. Hard to say how fright his buture is. Depends on whether he campaigns mostly at JMW or MW.
I guess you didn't watch the FNF where he fought Grady Brewer? :yep In pretty much every interview he's done he's sounded like he has an IQ of about 80, but on that night it was especially bad in the pre-taped ones that they showed. Pretty much anyone who saw them thought so. FFS, he started singing a few lines of "Can't Be Touched" (the Roy Jones rap song) during one of his interviews. Complete knucklehead. Talented in the ring, though.
Oh and while IMO he shut out Brewer (who had been on a roll) - that wasn't really what I'd call an "impressive" performance. It was a ****ing **** fight, and probably didn't convert a whole lot of casual fans or people flipping channels and happening upon ESPN2 and deciding to see what boxing is like into addicts.
i remember years ago...when he was 16 there was rumor on some board that he knocked paullie down in sparring....it was a pretty funny thread.... always had high hopes for boo boo....but here in RI we had hopes for jason estrada and matt godfrey too.....although boo boo is clearly more talented than those guys...so well see
Chris Chatman is the fight he lost. The one where he said "tell me how great I am" was the fight versus Geoffrey Spruiell.
