    What I never understood is why he didn't do the usual WBO process of moving up and becoming the mandatory. Disappointing!

    Hes "ducking" a relative unknown to move up to a heavier division to fight a guy who is just as proven in that division in the hopes of fighting the P4P #1?

    But to put in some context, Parker and Janibek have one opponent in common.

    Vaughan Alexander who pushed Janibek to a SD, and Parker blew him away in 2.

    The ducking Janibek to fight Parker theory sounds silly.

    This ain't a duck. Let's be completely honest. He's chasing Canelo and everyone knows that. Whether he gets Canelo is another matter altogether. But to claim he's ducking an unknown commodity to chase the man who is effectively the p4p king by grabbing an interim belt in said p4p king's weightclass to force a mandatory shot is just foolish to say, y'all know that ain't true. And it's foolish whether you believe Andrade beats Canelo or not. Stop throwing around the word "duck"

    Janibek would arguably be the most talented and most dangerous guy Boo Boo has fought (certainly at MW) and I was looking forward to that fight. That being said, Parker is a talented and dangerous customer too albeit he doesn't have the kind of amateur pedigree Janibek does.

    He did destroy Vaughn Alexander and like Janibek he's a spiteful hitter. The SD against Alexander was BS because Janibek was a clear winner IMO

    Clen is going to vacate when that slickness comes knocking on his door again.

    Andrade is looking for a big fight and doesn't have time to waste on bouts like this. Be happy he is looking for a marquee opponent rather than milk a belt.
