This is literally the first real "move" Andrade has made (other than flapping his mouth knowing full well he ain't do s**t to earn the fights he is callin for)

The real question is what took him so damn long? This dude annoys me to no end but this is finally a smart move, although I think he could get the Gennady fight if he truly wanted it.

Andrade ducked Lara and the other Charlo at 154? This man has spent his career doing exactly what y’all say others do milk a belt. This man ain’t even win a title in the ring before off a champ

Just setting the record straight. Andrade has NOT vacated his belt. WBO gave him a permission to fight Parker at 168, while Janibek has his Interim fight at 160. Andrade can return back to 160 after his fight against Parker without losing his belt. It's a no brainer and a good business decision by him.

Whilst I think Janibek was a tough fight for Andrade, there is an argument that Zach Parker is "out of the frying pan, into the fire", so hard to term it as a duck.

Obviously hoping to get some of the Canelo pie, but not convinced Andrade gets past Parker who is getting better every fight.

When Demetrius heard Janibek's name his pants filled with Doo-Doo.

But in all seriousness Parker ain't no joke and Andrade won't be in the Canelo lottery if he stays at 160.

Should have move two years ago. Could have been him instead of Plant.

I thought that would have made him instantly have to face Canelo (or force Canelo to vacate). When Crawford moved up he fought Jeff Horn for the full title.

    What's the deal with that?

    Just found this:

Apparently he will make the choice whether to be the mandatory at 168 or face a mandatory at 160 after the fight. A weird, sort of halfway move up.

It isn't a duck, this time. Ironic, last time he dropped the belt he held to avoid Canelo. This time he's dropping it to chase him. Andrade has done **** all with his career now he wants to cash out.

Typical Andrade...Ducks tough fights and brainwashes his fans saying he is avoided SMH. His main plan is to just take easy fights and get a payday from Canelo thats it.

Well by Crawford being undisputed at that time, he was able to get a title shot with Horn because Horn was the WBO champ. The only sanction that allows their champion to move up and automatic becomes the mandatory for that title is WBO.

Happy to return in July, but Andrade now has 0 fights possible at 168, and still has no plans of going down to fight Janibek, because he knows he gets whooped, everyone at 160 gets whooped by Janibek. No one at 160 would even be competitive with Janibek, I've never seen a fighter so blatantly avoided by an entire division in my entire life other than Hrgovic, and GGG.
