Andrade would stop Trout probably, No Doubt is really starting to doubt himself. Andrade needs to fight soon or lose his belt and fade into obscurity.
Ugh. People said my proposed Mayweather Jr. vs. Lara showdown promised untenable boredom. This would be fifty times worse - even though both of them are more wont to abandon their roles as technicians and counter-punchers than are Mayweather or Lara. Just because they're more willing to be the aggressor, though, doesn't make Andrade or Trout necessarily more exciting. They're both far less sharp in their work than Mayweather & Lara, and both far more defensively liable...meaning we are in for lots of sloppy, ugly tie-ups when either man launches a speedy offensive burst...especially with Trout likely to attempt to walk Andrade down to eliminate the height advantage (something we've seen him do before in desperation even though it has never been his forte) Ultimately it would probably end in a late TKO for the much bigger and less fragile (though I still have doubts about him and think he'll crumble if ever put under serious pressure) Andrade.
:nod ...as we saw, in Trout's case, proven conclusively in his match with Lara h2h (That was as much a mismatch in technical skill as Trout vs. Lo Porto, FFS) - and in his getting dropped by & struggling with Dawson, and to an extent with Grajeda. ...and I've never been sold on Andrade. To me he's just a light middleweight Dirrell (and that isn't meant to be a compliment)
It's Floyd > Lara >>>>> Andrade >> Trout. I know I've used a DBZ ****ogy before, but it fits. Lara-Trout was like Frieza vs. Vegeta. Remember that Vegeta couldn't even touch Frieza.
What's that make Andrade? :huh Zarbon? Able to beat Trout/Vegeta (at least Vegeta at that point in the series), but still well below the actual elite tier? :think
