I think Canelo puts him down a few times on the way to a UD

    Very good fight

Canelo has improved as a boxer with each fight,he's in his prime, rehydrates to God knows what and has a great chin,I've not seen Andrade and I don't think any of those top guys in that division fight often enough or ever fight each other.

    Canelo has it.

I'd certainly watch a rematch with Lara but I'm not in the club that thinks he lost to Lara,at best you could give Lara a draw.
We're there any titles on the line in that fight and who owned em?

But Canelo didn't actually beat Lara, that's the thing.

I thought Lara won the fight, but you have to understand the business of boxing. The party with the better connection prevailed. It is what it is.

Yeah true, another thing that bugs me in boxing is how someone who does most of the work in the first half of the fight can end losing if the opposition has a strong finish,it shouldn't happen but it does esp if like you pointed out they don't have the better connection,it's my big fear if Saunders fights Canelo as he is so good over seven rounds but tends to go off later which shouldn't matter though if those earlier rounds are in the bank.

By the way I'm not a big Canelo fan but I couldn't give Trout a win over Canelo and like I said I thought he beat Lara or drew it at worst?

    Canelos kryptonite .

In this fight Canelo gets outboxed/outclassed/outperformed.

Prediction: Canelo walks away with 120-108 scorecards in his favor.

I've seen Andrade fight 2 or 3 times on Showbox or B.A.D. Can't remember which it was. He looked good, but I can't remember him doing anything particularly impressive. The one advantage that I'm pretty sure he'd enjoy is reach. He didn't look particularly fast. He didn't seem to have particularly heavy hands. He didn't look near as fluid to me as Canelo has in the last couple of years.

Canelo murks him. It wouldn't be much of a contest. Maybe goes 8 rounds and then some kind of stoppage.

I think that the now just-about-all-the-way-grown-up-Saul Alvarez is a handful for anybody near his weight. I also think he still believes he's got things to learn. He can be beat, but it's gonna' take a serious talent and it will become increasingly difficult for a while yet.

That said, I still don't give him a pass for "we don't **** around" and then fights a WW.

Maybe that was Oscar hind-sighting his own career, but Canelo is a big boy. In the end it's his responsibility.

It proves his chin isn't all that great and if a decent journeyman like Vanes can catch Boo Boo and put him down, Canelo who is far more explosive, far bigger puncher and far more accurate will light his ass up.

The reality is Andrade isn't nearly as elusive as Lara, and has a tendency to stay in the pocket or at close enough range for just a few seconds too long. He's vastly overrated.

That's not how it works. Because A was able to do x does not mean B will able to the same to the same fighter. Besides, that was a flash knockdown. As you can see, the man got up immediately and was ready to continue the battle. I know you're a very emotional person so I can understand why can't understand that. Take this from someone who understands the sports of boxing more than you and who also is able to separate his feelings when making an educated assessment of a fighter..........Demetrius Andrade is a way better fighter than Canelo Alvarez. Andrade may not be as connected as Canelo, but given the same opportunity, Andrade will do anything Canelo has done in his career and far more. The man is one of the most talented fighters on the planet. Your bias may not allow you to accept it, but it's the fact. I can't think of more than 2 fighters in boxing technically more talented than Demetrius Andrade.
