Punch stats are the biggest joke anyway. If you slow mo that fight Lara outlanded him by 50-60 clean punches.
All that talk about power and bodyshots??? I didn't see it. Power and Canelo are like oil and water. The guy has slightly more power then malignaggi.

 

The bottom line is that boxing has a scoring criteria and it must be upheld.

I'm from so cal and everyone thinks he's a disgrace to boxing over here. You go to any carwash and say Canelo, they laugh and say he's a piaso. I went to the gym the next day and went right up to every Mexican fighter and trainer and they said Canelo got a lesson. He's not respected at our gym.

 

Good boxer Andrade but why is he inactive. He hasn't even got an up coming opponent. Shouldn't he have to make a defence of his belt?

 

havent seen a poll yet that backs up your statement, most people had canelo as a winner like it or not, so deal with it and stop lying...

 

Let me refrase his statement, most people who understand boxing and didn't have an agenda thought Lara won.

 

Andrade turned down Lara already. He and his people know he's not ready.

I think Lara is slightly better, but his poor performance against Alvarez shows that he might not fight in a way that pleases the judges. If Andrade has someone smart in his corner, he might just steal it with a better game plan.
