Merely point ingout how much more versatile Williams is, how vastly improved he is, how much more heavier handed he is, how much better his chin is, how much more confidence he has since losing to Beefy Smith. How he's going to give Boo Boo fits with his head movement, footwork, effective aggression, angles, lead rights, hooks, awkward punch selection in general.

Williams 2.0 is 4-0 at MW now and the only stoppage losses on the respective records of each of his 4 victims come courtesy of his iron fists.

And the guy he fought at 169 after the Liam Smith rematch (Darryl Sharp) has only been stopped once in 79 fights, again courtesy of Williams' iron fists.

He's also the only fighter to stop the teak-tough (22-6) Kris Carslaw who he sparked out in 2 with a jab. Carslaw lasted the 12 round distance against the excellent Michel Soro who can crack and Carslaw gave him a tough nights work

Dan Blackwell has only been stopped once in 76 fights, guess who the only person to have stopped him is?

Karim Achour had never been stopped in 38 fights going into his fight against Williams 2.0 and he lasted the full 12 rounds against none other the the absolutely murderous punching David Lemieux whereas he didn't make it out of the second round against Williams 2.0

And now he's stopped once beaten Fox who lasted the full route against Boo Boo Andrade whilst fighting with a torn rotator cuff, torn labrum, and torn ligament.

This is unquestionably the greatest JTFO KO in the history of pugilism considering that Carslaw had never been stopped and IIRC even knocked down before and is a former world kickboxing champion

'KRIS CARSLAW, the Paisley boxer, was floored for the first time in his career at the weekend when he failed in his attempt to make history by becoming the first Scot to win the British title in the super-welterweight category.

The 31-year-old joiner was stopped by Welshman Liam Williams ten seconds into the second round of their championship bout at Manchester’s MEN Arena.

But Carslaw’s manager, Tommy Gilmour was quick to defend his fighter after describing Williams as a “beast of a man” and a potential future world champion.

Such is 23-year-old Williams’ punching power that Carslaw could not even recall details of his early stoppage and he was ultimately forced to watch a recording of the bout on You Tube to familiarise himself with what had happened.

Carslaw, who was also targeting Williams’ Commonwealth crown, was initially sent crashing to the canvas for the first time in 28 contests by a blow to the temple in the opening round.

But he confessed: “I could not remember the second round. I thought I had recovered from my first round knock-down after taking the eight count but obviously I had not.

“I’m just glad that I’m alright because Williams is a bit special. I have been in against a few good ones like Michel Soro for the European title, but none of them could punch like this guy.


“I think he will go on to win the world title and I would imagine that the current champion, Liam Smith will be keen to avoid him.”


He added: “It was always going to be a tough battle, but Williams is exceptional to the extent that I would not be at all surprised if he goes on to become a world champion.

“Williams also has talent. It would not have mattered what Kris did in terms of his preparations, because that would not have changed anything.

“Colin and his team did a great job ensuring that he was in excellent shape fitness and conditioning-wise and there is nobody with a better chin or anyone braver.


“It’s also a measure of Williams’ power that Kris could not recall clearly what happened in the second round. He gave it his best shot, but I knew I was watching a touch of class; someone special who was just too good for him.”
