Not a bad fight, all things considered, I guess. Andrade has had such a strange career. Dude still hasn’t had 1 big fight yet.
Funny how this might arguably be Andrade's best fight at middleweight, even his whole career, to date.
You mean the Liam Smith that actually gave us a better fight than most of Canelo's recent opponents in Chavez, Fielding, Kovalev, Callum Smith...... ?
Not too exciting but also not bad under the circumstances. It's just not very interesting at 160 at the moment.
It’s odd to say, but you’re not wrong. But who else could be considered the 1st step up? Vanes, Culcay, Sulecski? Not that any of these guys are poor opponents, but they are the type that a “top” fighter should be fighting regularly, not the pinnacle of opposition.
Either Liam Williams bullies Andrade right out of it and KO's him first half of the fight or, Andrade really is the real deal and counters Liam Williams into a bloody mess by round 9/10. In other words, I have no clue about this one as Andrade has never really stepped up and Williams has failed twice at championship level but improved massively since. It could be an absolute stinker or a Froch/Taylor type thriller. I worry that Williams will get too emotionally invested aswell as he has quite the temper, I'd hate to rile him up in a pub with a skinfull in him!
