Jimenez edged a very close round with some good action in the last 20 seconds.

 

Yafai swung wide and miss and went flying on the ropes.

 

Yafai is throwing that open fist. slapping left hook, expecting it to hurt the dude.
He actually landed a really solid one. Had he turned his knuckles over, he could have ended the fight.

 

If he knew how to throw a proper hook, he would have kept his balance.

All those rounds are close now, Jimenez edged them on my card because of output and blocking a lot of Yafais punches.

 

Jimenez is way worse than yafai. But he's willing to work for the win and yafai not so much. He's winning rounds by pure workrate. Totally legit. Lazy fighters deserve to lose.

Jimenez has no power to make this interesting.

 

Yafai has more power in his jab than either left or right hook.
He actually steps in and puts his body into the jab.
His hooks are wide and he lands with the inside of the glove.
It works well when using a check hook... but Yafai has no clue.

 

I see it too. He is not turning his knuckle over? he looked strong early. But now seems to be winging slappy shots.

 

I have seen amateurs cutting the ring better than yafai.
