Title shot is a bit early, but he just forced himself into an immediate match with a top 10-15 contender at a minimum.
He looked very strong at the weight. Kim who isn't a small guy himself was struggling with the take downs. At least it shows Maia is trying to get back to BJJ rather than be a **** striker. Would of been nice to see how the fight would of played out had he not wrecked Kim on the takedown.
I think he realized his boxing isn't going to win him any fights and got back to his bread and butter.
