DeMori is a cool guy. But as soon he faces a decent fighter he wont win.

I hear that New Zealand HW Champ Afa Tatupu is after Mark and SBW. Mark should bring the WBU HW Title to New Zealand and defend it against Tatupu. Winner would be in a great position for a SBW fight and some good bucks.

 

I don't Tatupu at all but would expect both him and sbw to comfortably beat de mori...

Dude I would kill for that fight. Chauncy would add that WBU Title, they could get an Asian belt on the line too. I think it could happen as a good pay day to both as a co-main to the return of Chauncy's co managed fighter Ik Yang....somewhere like Macau.

But as of right now, Chauncy is at least semi retired. He opened a boxing/fitness gym in Spokane called Box Fit Spokane....it;s a world class facility and attracting pro boxers, MMA Fighters and various sports teams from Gonzaga University. Now between him and his brother Rick...owner of the older and more historic gym Spokane Boxing....they have the market cornered in Spokane.

Chauncy also has a baby on the way with his soon to be wife Sarah. He just turned 30 and he has never been floored, so he could go on and do lots more in boxing....but I don't know if he will ever get in the ring again. He doesn't have to fight anymore....so it will all depend on if he ever really wants to do it again passionately or an opportunity too good to pass up comes along.

I think an opportunity against de Mori would be too good to pass up if it came with a decent China purse and winning would mean a Top 15 WBA ranking along with a strap that is a World Strap....no matter what you think of it. Lots of men have won so called real world titles off guys way worse than de Mori.

And this fight would be a great watch for the fans as well. They both believe in the body attack......Chauncy may not look to be the better able to take it but I say he'd break Mark to the body first. These guys would probably go deep into a fight too as Mark can hit a little but Chauncy has been hit by the best and has never went anywhere. And Mark's chin is a suspect tool but Chauncy doesn't knock very many guys out. I think Welliver could come off his couch like he did against Solis and show to have better endurance and stamina than de Mori. And I tthink he stops him or wins an entertaining decision. :bbb

DeMori will never fight a fat 30yr old ranked 116th with reasonable skills
and a good chin.
He specialises in 40+ yr old basket cases ranked outside the top 400
with plenty of red ink on their resumes.

Welliver is smashing somebody in Chile on June 2nd and then will be doing a show with Billy Wright in New Zealand at the end of June too.

Now that Chauncy is going to be actively staying in the game and rankings...something between him and De Mori should happen.

But if not....I have another challenge to lay out to Mark that may be up his alley. I bet that 48 year old Bronco Billy Wright can kick your arse too! Why not man up to Billy if your way is the over 40 age group? Billy may be interested in crushing you for your WBU World Title. Billy is ranked in the WBC Top 50 as well....Mark is 15 and Billy is 38 and holding the Latino Belt. I bet that fight could happen in Vegas, New Zealand, Australia, Chile or any other damn country on Earth.
