Where am I sitting on the fence? I think Reed is a more than reasonable opponent at this stage of the game for De Mori. I've got no problems with it at all. As for the Alex v Mark return, I think at this point in time Alex has bigger fish to fry. If it happens down the line, I'm sure it'll be just like the first fight, a ball tearer.

It's the fish that John West rejects...That makes John West the best.

when alex and mark first fought, mark had 5 wins, 4 by ko. alex was a 'no fight NOVICE'!! alex also had few am fights. where mark had plenty of ams. alex was 16kg lighter than he is now. and wasnt trained by an astute trainer like he is now.

since then, alex found a great trainer, has put on 16kg of muscle due to his weight training regime, fought regularly, and beat some world class fighters, putting together a decent resume.

on the other hand...since their fight, mark has done **** all, and also....well, done **** all.

your 'fence sitting' is obvious from your own words. you are well aware of what has happened to both fighters in the last 8 or somthing years since they fought.

you recon a rematch would be a ball tearer!!! you know, and i know, whos balls would get ripped off. your failure to admit alex would murder him is evidence of you 'hunting with the hounds.....':deal

are you suggesting, that after watching marks interview with a pink to to, that he now wants to 'play with alex's ring' and alex is to dumb to see it?

jee. thanks for the warning. i'll tell you what hannibal. when alex tears both marks balls off, you can eat them both...ringside! how you like that teke? yum yum!

The thread title has an error. There is no " Future " in Dommie's career.
40yr old Reed is perfect for MDM. A 6ft tall blown up cruiser. The Wilder fight
should have convinced him he's wasting his time in boxing.

There won't be much between these two pumped up tanglefoots. I wouldn't
walk across the street to watch it if it was for free.

Dommie's career has been like a poor mans BJ [pretty boy] Flores all
    talk and very little action.

Agree that Alex wouldn't murder Mark though, Alex is alright, but very limited.

I would even go as far to say Alex is good for what he does, but, yes Mark would have to much smarts for him IMO also.

Also yes I think Mark has what it takes to mix it up with the contenders, do I think he will get the chance he deserves, sadly not.

The best chance he has to mix it with a contender is the one every Aussie HW is seeking and that is against Kali.

Think that is the best chance he has of finally showing what he could do on the world scene, but am also sure that if he was to win it would be a 'Kali is old, blah blah blah'

Looking at getting some more tees done up. How many for you LeftRip, Sally, Fast Hands and Co?

 John Wyborn proved himself to be a very dangerous opponent, and he always fought as 'the opponent', with KO stoppages over Mark, Pierre Karam and quite a few close points losses to the likes of Nermin Sabanovic or Bob Mirovic or Mark Hunt. Not bad considering he was a light heavy.
Yet he could lose a wide decision to the likes of Jamie Wallace or get stopped early in a fight as he occasionally did.

Before Paul Murdock's fight against Zsolt Erdei, Paul told us that Wyborn was one cat he wouldn't fight again, he said that when they fought, Wyborn hit him with a punch in the last round that basically had him out on his feet.

Wyborn was the same as a kickboxer, taking some big scalps but losing fights that should have been a walkover. I think John Wyborn is **** house to use as a boxing yardstick.

Nah, I'm right for T's thanks TPac.
But seriously too smart for Alex ? The boy from Logan would massacre Dommie.
If MDM and his backers are so confident he's up with the big boys, call out Denis Boytsov a HW most judges think is too small to be competitive in top company. That would show where Mark stands in the grand scheme of things.
Oh and by the way take another look at Meehan V Brewster {the whole fight is on You Tube] and it should be painfully obvious that MDM isn't in the same league and never will be.
