The incident you are referring to was when Brad Pitt was forced to fight an Argentinian when his original opponent was denied a visa days out from the fight and Terry his father who was promoting requested could the fight still be for the title.
As Brad was the only rated Victorian Heavyweight nobody would be disadvantaged and also what really pushed this fight being approved was the previous month the Super Cruiserweight title in Victoria was abolshed ......Brad was the Champion at the time...so recommending it be approved could compensate him for losing that title.
The Argentinian 6 years earlier had fought for some Sth American WBC title fought 3 times in the previous 11 months and had won his last fight.
Everyone was happy.

 

Thank God for that. I think the 4 rounder in question should be ok then, even if it does rock the sport to its core.

I've never seen Coleiro fight. Can only go on what I've been told on how he goes sparring some pros. I do know Kyle is handier than his record suggests. It's a good even fight that's winnable for both lads, far from bringing the sport into "disrepute" as you suggested.

You see I read in that Gladstone R swipe newspaper that the promoter was having his first fight for the WBU Australasian Cruiserweight title and now I find you have rounded up this Brumby a 1-5-1 fighter for him.
Tony must have been trialing well so looks a good thing in a 4 rounder.

March 18th is the date for the fight. I'd imagine he'll be out a week before or so. Should be a beauty.
