How many times have we heard this stuff from the de Mori camp before, and then he fights relics rated nowhere? Happy to discuss when it's more than just hotair :good

 

Chasing these fights is only going to cause Mark more periods of inactivity when they fall through. There are much easier fights to MAKE on the domestic scene which would win Mark a lot of respect amongst true fight fans. Ie. Huamono and Leapai. Not saying they are easy fights. It would be a mistake to consider these low reward fights because a win would boost Mark's stocks considerably and open other doors.

de Mori's 'business plan' reads like one of the most padded records in Aussie boxing. Hearing you mention the words 'set his sights lower' had me immediately thinking: Is that even possible

 

It is too big of a step compared to Mark has been fighting. It wouldn't end well. If you had to persist with international opponents, Mark needs to be looking at gatekeepers. They would be more willing than contenders. Need to look at the guys that have tried and failed against the Klits such as Sam Peters, Mormeck, Sosnowski, Kev Johnson...even Maddalone.

I'd like to see him face Wilder.....huge step up for both. Jennings walks through him. Scott boxes his ears off. But maybe, just maybe, he can beat Wilder who is a much more unknown quantity.
