Does anyone know of other sources that mention this? Also, is anyone aware of another high level boxer that would be known for doing this? Interesting. Can’t say I’ve ever heard that. Perhaps Jack synced his bob and weave to whatever tune he hummed. “The Hummer”’would’ve been a cool nick for Jack, though a much more meaningful term some decades after the fact of Jack’s career.
