Dempsey, Louis, Charles, Walcott, Marciano, Patterson vs todays cruiserwts

We all talk about them fighting today's SHW, why not vs today's cruiserwt's. That would be more in line with what they were and at what weight. Would they be as great today at cruiser, forget SHW.
Everybody concentrate's on SHW's and the Cruiser's are like the bas **** child of boxing, they are not appreciated. Right now there are many good fights to be made at cruiser but hardly no promoters will spend money in building a cruiser. Murat Gassiev, Usyk, Lebedev, and others are pretty good fighters to begin with.
Cruisers are the HW's of yesteryear. How many great fights we have missed in favor of the boring for the most part fights for the title.
