Dempsey or Marciano v Foreman

Lyle didn't have that face disfiguring power like Dempsey and Marciano. Dempsey stopped guys in the first round. Lyle had to rely on wearing guys down until the later rounds before he could end it. Marciano had many first round knockouts and is definitely known as being a great p4p puncher. Don't get me wrong, Lyle could really bang but he wasn't on the level of Dempsey or Marciano. Maybe the level below.

I agree with second part.

 

Dempsey does everything better than Marciano. And he's a lot more proven against bigger guys.

You obviously don't. You think Foreman is the most unbeatable fighter in history and because he got exposed for being chinny by Lyle you try rationalizing it by saying Lyle is one of the hardest hitting heavyweights of all time .

How many first round knockouts did he have? None How many current top 10 fighters did he knockout? Only 1. Shavers who was ranked 6.

Even further you can't even disprove my points by using evidence. You resort to illogical fallacies by saying statements like "you dont have any clue about the sport". Tsk, tsk...you my friend are the one without a clue.

 

Both Marciano and Dempsey are in another destructive class than Lyle...these two could realley injure you as well as knock you out cold.

I'm seeing some of you say Marciano hit harder than Dempsey. :huh The amount of rounds each guy needed to knock out their opponents sure doesn't support that. :nono

 

Marciano wasn't as fast a starter as Dempsey. More of a sustained attack over the duration of the bout.

 

Just take a peek at Dempsey's record. He had the most 1st round KOs in history out of any heavyweight. He completely brutalized men twice his size!

 

Oh yeah I'm completely in agreeance with what you said I was just making the point that they are different type of punchers. Marciano hit hard and could continue to hit hard for 15 rounds straight while Dempsey was cool, calm and collected and could brawl when needed as well as he picked his shots perfectly and they were all big punches. Punch for punch Dempsey hits harder but he couldn't keep up a sustained attack over 15 rounds on the level of Marciano.

Marciano was less scientific and more break em down hit you wherever he could.

 

I think the world of the rock but he's getting destroyed by Dempsey h2h. And I'm not even a fan of Dempsey!

I like the rock a lot but it'd be a miracle if he made it out of round 1, Foreman drops him 3 times and it's over. Dempsey? probably loses to George to but in a thriller
