I was recently looking through a dempsey photo collection and came across 2 photos that made me curious.On this first one I was wondering if this is actually dempsey,it says its a 1923 photo but when compared to other photos of his from the period they just don't look alike to me he looks more like a thin scarless capone hahaha..... This content is protected 2.Here is the other one, a very cool photo it is said to be the earliest photo of dempsey taken and I was just curious if anyone one on here knew the year this was taken or an estimate(they do not give a date to it).... i have seen other earlier dempsey pics...they both are dempsey i think...but that is definitly earler then 1923..dempsey had a youthful almost pretty boy look in some of his early pics...but years punches and rubbing oil grime into his skin gave him a harder less pretty look in later years.
Dempsey had a nose job done by then ,and the earlier pic shows his eyebrows had been plucked ,if you look at stills from his ," two reelers "you can see the over the top make up fashionable at the time.
