dempsey vs carnera and dempsey vs lyle

    is the manassa mauler destroying these two? or do either have a shot at winning?

    I think Dempsey defeats Carnera, and really puts a hurting on him in the process. Of course, I think Carnera's heart and size will keep in the fight for a while. Max Baer had to drop him multiple times before Carnera was finally finished.

    I don't know what to make of Dempsey vs Lyle. Neither man ever fought anyone who even remotely resembled the other in style.

    This is true ,though Dempsey did have George Godfrey as a sparring mate for several fights,I
    imagine Godfrey would have been in the Lyle mould,maybe not so polished ,and with a little more power ,but that style
