I'm not knocking Dempsey's chin but he was KO'd in the first round against Flynn, and against Firpo he was down twice, and only audience participation allowed him to finish the fight. The was also down against Tunney.

His comment about that was legendary, as he told his wife "Honey I forgot to duck" which is what Regan said to his wife Nancy, when he was shot.
