Dempsey by KO between the 6th -8th . Baer is never an easy night and absolutely has a puncher's chance , but prime Dempsey s pressure , stamina and brutality are perfect to exploit Maxs defensive lapses and inconsistency. Jack would eventually overwhelm him with ferocity.
I fancy Dempsey as well. He's sooo much faster than Baer and his footwork is much better too. Baer was always a tank brain.
Baer is there to be hit and Dempsey had plenty of firepower but Baer would have height reach and weight so it could be a Firpo kind of fight. Baers got a punchers chance to catch Jack and put him out otherwise Dempseys ferocious attack overwhelms Max like Louis did and as in that fight Max is so crude he doesn’t know how to tie him up or counter punch. It’s an all out brawl that Jack wins on speed and determination along with power rivaling Baers.
