Hope wasn't a bad boxer...but dempsey had been fighting exhibitions in that time...I have to feel it was definitly a farce.

Dempsey at 60 would have koed hope at 25...clearly a routine. You can also find footage of charlie chaplin ko'ing dempsey in his prime.
that picture ovbiously makes it look faked, still the article reported it as a genuine KO which is very strange as if its a joke, the audeince should have been in on it.
