Denis Aleksandrovich Lebedev vs. Thabiso Mchunu RBR.

Since no one ever did an official RBR for this, and I missed it the first time around. Here goes.... although I have a bad feeling this is going to bore me to sleep.

Round 1 Mchunu 10-9

Poor Denis, looking confused and tentative as hell, Mchunu's speed from the outset has him all befuddled. Thabiso landing at will straight lefts, leaping right hooks, left hooks to the body, right hooks to the body, anything he wants. Denis' right eye is already red.

Thabiso is also looking to be the more physically imposing of the two, he's having his way with Denis, he's landing at will sharp little jabs to the body, digging sharp hooks to it as well, at times he's literally leaping in with his right hooks and landing most of them with incredible ease. All the while he's outmuscling him on the inside and pushing him back. Thabiso landing absolutely vicious jabs snapping the old man's head almost off his shoulders.

Thabiso picking up right up right where he left off, really feeling it now, he's already starting to beat Denis up, walking him down at times even, they clashed heads, jackass ****ing awful ref Ian John Lewis docks a point from the uncut fighter, which is Lebedev, even Mchunu is looking like... "huh.. what the ****?" Thabiso jabs are spiteful as hell, almost neckbreakers. Denis never in the proper range to alnd almost anything. He pinned him against the ropes late, and tried to work him over, but only for two seconds.

Lewis loudly and frantically calls time out again early, to fix Mchunu's beltline, ****ing idiot. Lebdev is having a little more success being aggressive, but he's also eating more counters, Mchunu isn't throwing much, but he's still elusive as hell, Thabiso landing some nice jarring very fast snappy sharp one twos.

Thabiso comes out aggressive like he finished the fourth, Denis landing his jab a little more frequently, Thabiso landing sharp jabs to gut, shoulders his way in, landing little right hooks to the head and body on the inside. Thabiso overshoots, Lebedev even missing a rabbit punch.

Mchunu still rough and rugged, lands a hard jab that seemed to shake Denis up a little bit, Mchunu is landing everywhere at will, including a lead left that Denis slightly rolled with but ate most of, Denis tried to pin him on the ropes, had little success, then ate a savage one two that seemed to rock him, then Mchunu landing an absolutely savage lunging left that rocked Denis to the core.

 

This is as one sided as I sadly predicted it to be. Although stylistically, Mchunu would have always been a problem for The White Swan, a younger sharper version would have had a little more success than this, which has been a one sided drubbing from the open seconds.

Thabiso lands a three punch combo early, wobbling Denis all over the place. like a punching bag, Thabiso landing in combination all over his body, caps it off with a violent head jarring jab. One guy in the crowd starts a weak Ro-Si-Ya chant, its slowly catches on, meanwhile Denis is still getting pasted.

Mchunu stabbing him with that jab, which is as authoritative and powerful as a power jab could be. Denis trying a little, Thabiso seems to be taking a breather, still winning with ease. Even with his weak hooks. Denis gets him along the ropes, he fights his way off. Mchunu missing more now, because Denis is more and more hesitant and thinking over his aggressive and stopping short, not because of his defense.

The way Denis keeps eating that jab is disturbing, it's almost like from a movie for dramatic effect, his eyes close, his head flies back and he makes a derp face. Denis is trying, but is too sluggish and inaccurate, Mchunu is landing at will, most of it is to the body. A hard sharp left connects to the chin of Lebedev and jolts the Russian.
