well thats not a Povetkin style not ready yet, maybe in 3-4 years, excuse. Boytsovs just asking for a reasonable timeframe to train. any top level fighter should have enough time to prepare himself and go thru a full fledged camp before stepping in the ring.. if Fury was interested in fighting a 100% Boytsov too instead 0f a 70%, his ppl could have moved the date a few weeks back..
You seriously thought that fight was going to happen? :roflatsch Either guy would have backed out if the other one didn't eventually. Was never going to happen.
funnily enough, there was a thread yesterday asking " are british fighters feared?" i think it's quite clear... they are. there's always someone ducking and dodging, or pulling out. it can be a bit of a nuisance.
it seems everyone ducks the brits. i thought we were glass jawed jokes? surly they would get in the ring and beat them as easily as people on here claim? everyone has confidence with their mouth, but when it's time to shine in the ring, that confidence disappears. :think
and who have they ducked? lewis was afraid of no one. he was the one who people ducked. haye got in there with wlad (when the usual contract didn't stink) and now wants vitali. but it's vitali, not haye, who's stalling. Hmmmm...
haye wants him now! it's vitali who's stalling the fight after saying he was going to knock him out. haye never ducked chagaev or povetkin you fool. when did any of them call him out or make any offers?
Wow ..... Boytsov needs to write a book: "The Idiot's Guide To Ruining Your Own Reputation." (With a forward by Deontay Wilder.)
I said from the start that this was not a good fight for either guy. They are too young to be involved in these kind of competitive fights. In 4-5 years, yes ok, but lets not ruin 2 promising young talents by rushing them.
