Dumbest thing I ever heard. You act like they are going up against a Klitschko they are fighting each other. When did it become a bad thing for young fighters to fight each other? Oh and they are mid to late 20's that is that young. Fights like this need to happen more and is a big reason boxing is a"dying" because guys rather fight bums and get given a title or a title shot instead of earning one.

And if a fight like this can "ruin" one of them then they weren't that good anyway. You are not a boxing fan.

 

Lewis ducked Vitaly rematch and Haye ducked both Klitschkos many times. He ducked Vitaly to fight Valuev and ducked Wladimir until there was nowhere to run. Of course, now Haye wants Vitaly when Vitaly is old, but when Vitaly was in late 30s it was a different story.

If Boytsov hadn't chickened out (which is hard to understand, seeing as he'd power right through the big fraud) then Fury would have found an excuse to back out himself.

For those who don't know: Universum, the promotional agency that has Boytsov and a few other talented fighters under it's wing, has been stalling on payments and left some fighters, Boytsov included, without means of survival. The company is going through a major overhaul at the very top, and naturally the fighters get the short end of the stick. Without money there is no team, without a team there is no proper preparation, and on a short notice against Fury that would be pretty damn stupid. I just hope Boytsov can find a way out of that mess, Universum is a sinking ship and it's new management is no better than the one that got it into this mess.
