2015 will be the year Boystov finally gets back on track(so I hope) Even if he went bust, he's still above losing to the likes of Leapai if he's motivated and has the right people behind him. He did bounce back after losing to Leapai with a decent win over Timur Musafarov who of course gave Teper all he could handle. Not that I rate ET that high, but he can definitely crack and has a fairly high ranking.

Wasn't this guy supposed to be so good etc..?

I remember an Older poster with the alias of Odo used to mention him alot.

I believe Pizzaboy used to like him as well.

Furry/Universum: What's the status of this Boystov guy... is he Goldy?

I've always figured Boystov would eventually step up and face the top heavies. He's taken too long to get there but it seemed ok because he's been so young.

Now he's going to be 29 in a few months, which isn't old but it isn't mid 20's either. It now seems like he probably is going to waste his talent and never reach his potential.

Was really high on this dude, shame about how his career panned out with the injuries and his opponents.

Only 28, hard to believe considering how long he's been around... Andrey Fedosov is 28 himself, despite the fact he turned pro all the way back in 2003

Maybe that loss was a wake up call for him.... We shall see. Lots of wasted potential. No more partying, and he definitely needs to shed some of that excess muscle that he has. At 28 he still has time to turn things around and show us what he's really made of, even if he's not the future Mike Tyson(definitely not) I do think he's MUCH better than what he showed us against Leapai.

If he wins impressively maybe he can be Wlad's mandatory if Jennings doesn't want it.
Not really of course, but it would be funny to see the fallout if he decides to fight someone like Boytsov now. :!:

I was going off of what that other guy was saying, but it does appear to be slowing him down a bit... Wouldn't hurt to slim down a bit.
